World’s Greatest Hobby is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational program dedicated to promoting model railroading. We partner with manufacturers, clubs, and retailers to introduce new audiences to the hobby through exhibitions, open houses, and educational outreach.

Our mission is simple: show people of all ages and backgrounds that model railroading is fun, affordable, and deeply rewarding. From STEM learning opportunities for kids to a creative outlet for retirees, this hobby has something for everyone.
