Founded
in 1979 as the Romeoville Model Railroad Association, we've been around
for 30+ years. We are focused on HO scale and are actively building a
modular layout, using DCC and based on Free-MO standards. Because our
layout is modular, that allows us to participate in local events in
conjunction with other area clubs. We are always seeking new members to
help us as we grow.
Our Club is in Elwood, IL (just south of Joliet) at the SW corner of ILRoute 53 and Millsdale Rd. (23954 S. Chicago St).
Visitors and
new members are always welcome! Our clubhouse is open to the public
each Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sundays from
12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (approx). Meetings for members are held on the
1st Tuesday of each month, so the club is not open to the public that
day.
