Our club sets up two displays a year. The first in December when the school hosts a Christmas party for under-privilaged children from the city of Newark. The party is held at school. We encourage the kids to play with and control the trains. Our students earn community service credit for this experience. Our second display is during the spring when we set up a display in the front foyer of the school for our students and visitors to experience. The club was started 3 years ago by two incoming freshmen who wanted to share their railroading experience with others. I am the faculty advisor. We have pictures to share, if you would like, of our Christmas dispalys. Our club curreently has 8 members, still including the original 2.
