Most members model in N or HO, but there is interest in other scales by a few members as a second option. We have no division layout, but members are helping to build an HO rendition of the Milwaukee Road as it existed in Montevideo, MInn. in the 1950s for the Milwaukee Road Heritage Center, an active museum in Montevideo.
Club/Group meeting frequency:
Usually monthly Sept.-April with one summer event such as a train ride, visit to a rail museum or picnic and home layout tour.

The MRVD has meetings at member homes, several of which have large HO layouts, some double-deck with helixes. It has an open house with several small, portable layouts in N, HO and O in February (10 a.m.-3 p.m. Feb. 9, 2008) at the Willmar, MInn. public library, 410 5th Ave. Our division starts about 50 miles west of Minneapolis and goes to the South Dakota border. The northern border is about St. Cloud to Alexandria, while the southern border is about Marshall to Morgan and Gaylord.
