Description
A portion of our club layout is an operating HO scale historic rendition of these two railroads as they appeared circa 1902 in the Town of Canton, CT. Behind this diorama is our club layout which measures approx. 40' x 40' depicting the CNE Railroad and the Canal Line Railroad and the towns they serviced, modeling them throough the 1950's, well after they were gone. "One can still dream, can't they!"
Schedule
The layout is part of the museum's tour and is open during museum hours. However club members are only there during our weekly meetings on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Admission/Fare
To tour the museum is $3.00 per person and well worth it. To visit JUST the train layout on a Thurs. club night (7-9) is free.

There is lots to see and do in the Canton area, with many antique shops, museums, fishing, canoeing in the beautiful Farmington River and many miles of rails to trails. There are many places to stay in the greater Hartford area.
Location/Directions
Canton is located in the Farmington River Valley just northwest of Hartford, CT. The Museum is in the Collinsville section of Canton just off of Rte 179 which runs off of Rte 44
