The Pacific and Eastern Model Railroad is 26 feet by 56 feet. It was designed approximately six years ago to be a traveling layout to attend local model railroad shows. Originally only five tables in size it currently consistes of 29 tables and work is underway to expand to 41. We currently have approximately 26 members and are open to expansion. We typically attend 12 to 17 model railroad shows each year, traveling to Dayton,Ohio; Springfield, Peoria, Collinsville, Illinois; Fort Wayne, Muncie, Richmond, Kokomo, Indianapolis, Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky. We have also presented the P&E at schools and other civic functions. The layout/club does not have a home of its own; the layout travels to shows in a 24 foot dual axel trailer. Club meetings are held on an intermittant basis rotating between members homes. We publish a newsletter once or twice a month via e-mail or USPS.
