Description
HO- Models a time of transition from steam to diesel. A lake serves as a recreation location in the summer and an ice pond in winter. A stone quarry, turntable, and trestle bridge are focal points. The track is in the form of a double figure 8 winding through part of these features. An independently controlled double main line encircles the figure 8 to complete the layout.
G- Features a layout that encircles the museum with the theme of Stratford(A town for all seasons) depicted at the 4 corners. A Mikado and an 0-4-0 and an F-A help pull the rolling stock and passenger cars.
N- An urban and rural track in the form of an oval shows the movement of trains .
O- A diesel yard, trolley, and oval upon oval with a featured waterfall and massive trestle show off this flagship layout.
Schedule
The museum is open nightly on Wednesdays and Thursdays for work (from about 6:00 PM to 10:00PM) for the running of trains and work on the layouts. On special ocasions when the park buildings are opened to the general public the museum is as well.
Admission/Fare
Free however donations are very much appreciated.
Locomotives/Rolling Stock
Really assorted among all the gauges very, very rare antique engines to modern day diesels. A replica of the first steam generator is on display

Pumpkin Day and other "Town" celebrations need to check local listings or websites for other days of operation.
Nearby Attractions/Accomodations
In the park can be found: Boothe Homestead from the 1860's, the Carriage House, Americana Museum, Miniature Lighthouse, Clocktower Museum, Blacksmith Shop, Putney Chapel, Miniature Windmill, an celestial observatory, and a ham radio shack. and other sites with in the park.
Location/Directions
From Merritt Parkway, use Exit 53, Proceed south on Rt 110 to Main Street Putney which forks to the right. Head south on Main Street Putney a quarter of a mile to the park on the left.
From I-95 southbound, use Exit 38 (Merritt Parkway) Continue to Exit 53 and follow instructions above.
