Our club has recently approved constructing a modular layout for the purpose of promoting the hobby of model railroading. One primary objective is to work with Alabama A&M University's Community Development Corporation (CDC) and their neighborhood revitalization program. Currently, this program focuses on two neighborhoods near the university campus. Alabama A&M is one of the nation's oldest historically Black universities.
