Situated on 6 acres in Confederation Park, this outdoor live steam railway features 6 bridges, 2 tunnels, and several mountains.
Schedule
11:00am - 5:00pm, Sat, Sun and Stat Holidays. Good Friday to Canadian Thanksgiving (Second Monday of October)
Admission/Fare
$2 each, under 3 free, 12 ride passes available for $20.
Locomotives/Rolling Stock
Ride-on steam, diesel, and electric locomotives pull the trains. The club-owned locomotives include 2 British Style narrow gauge 0-4-0 "Wrens", Montreal Boxcab Electric #7701, Brand-new CNR F7 #9000, 2-6-0 #73, 4-8-4 #3601, F40PH #970, and NYC J Class Hudson #5979 (Currently undergoing a rebuild). Several other privately owned locos also work the line, among them are a SP 2-8-2, a British Rails "Britannia", and a BCR MLW-M420.Train Festival, usually second weekend of August.
