Including full access to NY Museum of Transportation, Rochester & Genesee Valley RR Museum, and 2-mile track car ride between the two facilities, $6 adults; $5 65+; $4 3-15. Nov-mid-May, NY Museum of Transportation only, $3 adults, $2 under 12
Locomotives/Rolling Stock
HO layout features variety of diesel passenger and freight equipment and several city and interurban trolleys. Adjacent exhibit "Evolution of Rail Travel" consists of over 200 HO cars and engines built by Master Modeler Ed Van Leer in a timeline display from 1830 to the present. The two museums contain a variety of full-size trolleys, steam locomotives, diesels, passenger and freight cars, buses, highway and horse-drawn vehicles, plus numerous exhibits and artifacts.
Special Events
Bring Your Own Train (Jan-April) lets visitors run their HO equipment on our layout; Worlds in Miniautre feaures modules, boats, steam engines and other miniatures by local craftsmen; Diesel Days offers cab and caboose rides on 2-mile railroad. See website for schedule.

City of Rochester is 20 miles away and has the Strong Museum, George Eastman House Museum of Photography, Rochester Museum & Science Center, High Falls, and many other attractions. Super 8, Fairfield Inn, Red Roof, Days Inn, Microtel Inn all 1/2 mile from I-390 exit 12, about 5 miles from museum.
