Description
Our layout is O gauge, and has many interactive buttons on it that allow the visitors to operate various accessories on the display. We also have a G gauge operating Thomas the Tank Engine display in the museum!
Schedule
Varies by season:
January through April: open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
May through October: open six days a week, closed on Tuesdays, from 10 AM to 56PM
November and December: open daily (7 days a week) from 10 AM to 5 PM
For large groups, buses, etc, other times can be arranged by prior appointment
Admission/Fare
Adults: $8, Senior citizens (65 and up) $7, students (10 to 18) $5, children under 10 FREE with an adult. (All admissions subject to 6% WV sales tax)
Locomotives/Rolling Stock
Our layout operates O gauge equipment, but we also have G gauge Standard gauge, S gauge, HO gauge, and Z gauge trains in the museum. Items range from current production to early 1900's. We also have many railroad artifacts (lanterns, timetables, etc) in the museum, and fully restored former Baltimore & Ohio caboose C-2019 sits on the museum property!

Location/Directions
From Interstate 70 or Interstate 470 through West Virginia, eastbound OR westbound, take Exit 5 (Elm Grove/Triadelphia). At the bottom of the exit ramp turn LEFT. Go about 50 yards to the traffic light, and turn LEFT AGAIN. The musuem will be about 100 yards up on the righthand side. Free parking

There is a special page on our website about our O gauge operating train layout. The museum also features dolls & dollhouses, trucks, cars, trains of all types, western toys, toy soldiers, riding toys, space toys, and much more! Guided tours given.
