On Tuesday, Dec. 7, actor and World's Greatest Hobby spokesman Michael C. Gross participated in a live link-up to television stations across the country. The TV segment, which was broadcast from Kalmbach Publishing Co., featured Gross and several layouts built by Model Railroader magazine staff members. The Rosen Group, coordinating WGH's public relations, pitched the event as a World's Greatest Hobby Satellite Media Tour and invited local stations to pick up the segment.
