How You Can Help Model Railroading Grow
The success of this campaign really hinges on how many individuals, clubs, and hobby shops volunteer to help.
Clubs and Divisions of National Associations
If you're a representative of a model railroad
club or a division of a national club or association that welcomes new
members and/or is willing to conduct workshops for new people entering
the hobby, register here. Your club or group will become part of a
nationwide database (assistance directory) which beginners will be able
to access to find help locally. If your club or group needs assistance
conducting workshops, we'll supply a kit of helpful material at no cost
to your club
Hobby Shops
Many hobby shops already do conduct workshops
for beginning model railroad hobbyists. If you're a shop owner or
manager and you currently have workshops for newcomers or are willing
to try it, register here. Your shop will become part of a nationwide
database (assistance directory) which beginners will be able to access
to find help locally. If you need assistance conducting workshops,
we'll supply a kit of helpful material at no cost to your shop
Layouts open to the public
If you're the owner of a layout that is open to
the public that is not in our directory, please fill out the Layouts
open to the public registration form
